May to October is the best season for the viewing of dolphins and whales, but specialist species are more often found later in the year. The short-finned pilot Whale, Common Bottlenose Dolphin and Short-beaked Common Dolphins are the sighted mostly during the winter.

The water temperature is very also surprisingly warm all year round, ranging between 19°C/66°F during the winter and can reach 24°C/75°F in summer.

Local people tend to be nicer

It makes sense but off season is quieter and less stressful. Therefore the locals are much nicer and appreciate the custom.
